Beginning in 2026–2027, tuition reflects the full cost of enrollment. Previously separate fees are now bundled into the tuition rate.
Payment Options
- Payments may be made in one, two, or ten-payment installments.
- Tuition Reimbursement Insurance (TRI) is required unless tuition is paid in a single installment. This fee is 2.5% of tuition.
- Financial aid is available for children enrolled in Grades K-8. Due to the resources required for Nexus students, Financial Aid is not available
- Families who have more than one child enrolled, from infant to Grade 8, will have $100 credit applied per child towards PA fees. This credit will be applied upon submission of the enrollment contract and deposit.
Philanthropy
Tuition at The Mead School, as at all independent schools, does not cover the full cost of a child’s education. All independent schools ask parents/guardians to participate in an Annual Fund Campaign to supplement tuition income. Contributions are tax-deductible. Milk and 3 nutritious snacks during the day are included in the fees for all Early Learning Center children - irrespective of group or length of day.
Infant-Preschool tuition numbers above represent 42-week contracts, or September - June.
Payment Options
- Payments may be made in one, two, four or ten-payment installments.
- Tuition Reimbursement Insurance (TRI) is 2.5% of tuition. This fee is required unless tuition is paid in a single installment.
- 10% Sibling Discount offered to all families with students enrolled in Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten programs. Must have two or more students attending full-time (Early Learning/childcare 5 days x 42 weeks).
- Families who have more than one child enrolled, infant to Grade 8, will have $100 credit applied per child towards PA fees. This credit will be applied upon submission of the enrollment contract and deposit.
Additional Fees
$600 Enrollment Fee - for Part-Time Early Learning Center Extended Day students only.
Parent Association Dues: $140 annual fee required of all families. Dues offset the cost of Parent Education Events, Fund-raising Events, Socials and Staff Appreciation Luncheons.
Occasional special events require a nominal separate fee.

We partner with families to make a Mead education possible when there is a strong alignment with our program.
